Four Decades of Saving Lives In Hamilton, Virginia

The Hamilton Volunteer Rescue Squad consists of many volunteer members. Every day people with day jobs, friends, families and life.
As Loudoun County’s first rescue squad in 1952, the members of the Hamilton community were volunteering their time and skills long before Station 17 was renamed in 1979.

These members provide both basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) emergency care. The incidents we respond to range from severe injuries to serious illnes – and everything in between.
Even though our town is nestled between Leesburg and Purcellville, our ‘first due’ (service boundary) is larger than you may think.

When an emergency happens in town, or at times East or West, we answer.

We are teachers, corporate managers, contractors, students and more. Each of whom have found renewed purpose by contributing to the greater good of our Hamilton community.
