Membership Overview

"Everyone can be great because everyone can serve."
Martin Luther King Jr.

People volunteer for different reasons.  Some  volunteer as a way of giving back to the community.  Others volunteer after a life-changing event.

Whatever the reason, if you're up to the challenge, we can help you reach your goals.  Volunteering and saving lives is one of the most rewarding activities you'll ever have the opportunity to be involved in.  Ask any of our members, and they'll tell you that there is nothing more rewarding than knowing, at the end of your day, that you made a difference in someone's life.  Words often cannot describe it.

We supply the equipment.  We supply the training.  You supply the time & desire.

The Hamilton Volunteer Rescue Squad is currently looking for new members who want to make a difference in their community and the lives of those who live there.  We have openings for all positions, including:

  • Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)
  • Drivers
  • Administrative Members
  • Junior Members (ages 16-19)

All training and equipment is provided FREE OF CHARGE, and your time & effort volunteering helps save Loudoun County taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.

Members may also be eligible to receive an exemption on their personal property tax for 1 vehicle along with a free annual county/town decal.  Members are also eligible to enroll in the Loudoun County employees' health & dental plans, a huge benefit to those who may be retired, self-employed, or not offered insurance at their place of employment.

But most of all, members receive the ultimate reward of knowing they're making a difference.
